Picked up jdm R seats and rails, and obviously sit higher than the stock usdm seats, but its only really the drivers side. The passenger side seems like its the normal height.

Can I just get an usdm seat rail and put it in the drivers spot? Would it be lower and fit? Don't want it super low, just back to the usdm height.

I've searched for vision and memoryfab seat rails and can't find a supplier for them...

No, you can't put USDM rails on. I just picked up a set (or two) and have been researching on alternative seat rails. You won't be able to get Vision One Touch sliders or MemoryFab rails anymore because Vision pulled out of North America and MF is only importing JDM wheels.

Your alternatives is to have Wedge Engineering makes rails (about $200 a side) that is height adjustable or buy Bride RO rails (about $180-200 a side). I believe you might have gotten DB8R rails as they do sit slightly higher than DC2R rails. If this is the case, you can buy 'driver side' DC2R rails.

yup your driver side is a db8 rail and your passenger rail is the dc2 one

 

Im assuming you can tell from the 3 bolts on my passenger side?

Ill have to look around for a jdm "passenger" rail...

I can't confirm since I can't tell the difference visually. But I had DB8 rails on my DC5 Recaros and they sat really high. I even had to use a longer bolt on the rear inner hole for each side since the OEM one wasn't long enough.

 

Unless iv read it wrong you might have that the wrong way around? Im sure DB8 are 3 bolt (ill double check when i get home). Sorry if iv mis read it

So the db8 ones are three bolt. Pretty sure my car wouldnt have been swapped around. Hope that helps.

db8 rails are not 3 bolt

My JDM DC2 rails are 3 bolt and sit perfectly

 

Maybe dc2 and db8 are 3 and ek9 are 2. Not sure. My db8 has 3.

 

DB8 inner rail hole is thicker than the DC2. Did you have to use a longer bolt?

i had the DB8 rails on my pair as well and they sat higher than stock. the one giveaway was also the extra chunk of plastic on the rear mounting locations (mounting onto the car body).

i ended up going with the Vision low rails

 

No it doesn't look like yours, my driver rail is 3 hole as well as passenger

I think your pass. is DC2 considering the three hole and lower height

Our Australian spec DC2R's come with Recaro's with 2-bolt seat rails.

Not sure if this helps - but I can't imagine we would get DB8 rails in our DC2's here. Pretty sure the 2-bolt rails are DC2.

 

Im going to order Bride RO seat rails and not have to worry about 3 or 2 bolt rails...

 

You should get both sides.
