From rags to riches, b..ches
Just bought my first Honda in about 5 years. A rusted out 1993 Del Sol S, minor problems for $600 from a good friend. No big plans (Im still a student) , but I’ll take it as it goes, figured I’d start a progress thread. Pics below of my previous Honda then the Sol. No busting ***** on the lambo doors, that was a while ago, and it was before they were played out. Ha ha
Look forward to resurrecting this thing,
Only found one of the civic...more to come of the Sol

Dont make it look like that poor EK... body kits and lambo doors... your just making your civic something its not. Honda put millions into R & D that includes aero too.. the stock body kit is fine.. and you add weight with body kits...

no **** the body is bad... unless your a body man its gonna cost you. thats alot of rust. wonder what the under body and other parts look like
i'm in the same boat as you bro. picked up a black 94 sol si....quarter panels are toast, and under trim....by the sideskirts. as well as surface rust.
i'll be investing in a welder, as well as saving to buy replacement body panelling.....and then off to a body shop to get painted.

Ill be cutting it up asap, finding new quarters, rockers, doors, trunk. Im also trying to piece together a j-swap. Im not trying to show the car, my goal is just to have a quick sol, thats not going to cost me a lot. Once the body is repaired, it shouldn’t look that bad, or fall apart, it looks pretty solid minus the quarters and doors.
Ill post pics up, once i get started. Thanks for the positive comments.
