Snapped a bolt off trying to install my front suspension, I feel stupid because I forgot the name of this part, the piece were the bottom of the front strut mounts, thanks

thanks, searched but cant find were I could buy one, know any places?

 

the fork bolt snapped off inside so I cant get it out, is there a way i could drill it out or should I just get a new fork, thats what i figured

 

what is the year, make, model and trim of the car? you can get a replacement from honda or just grab one at the junkyard.

Did the upper or lower bolt snap? If the lower is still stuck in there and you have not damaged the shock fork you can just pound out the section of bolt with a long punch and BFH. If you do need a new fork the junkyard would be the best place.

 

its the upper pinch bolt, im going to attempt to get it out with an easy out and well see how that goes

 

Its kind of a ghetto fix but if absolutely necessary you can drill that bolt out and then put another longer bolt through that hole with a nut and washer.

 

just spent 3 hours drilling the pos and ive only got halfway, why cant honda just make bolts that are strong enough

 

Well it can sure withstand a hella of alot of drilling.

 

lol, my thoughts exactly. i've never seen that bolt snap. i would just grab a new lower shock fork from the junkyard and call it a day

I broke that bolt once, but it was seized.
