Suspension problem help !!
i ran into a problem today while changing my suspension i broke a bolt in the rear ,i was trying to take the stock spring/strut off. i need to buy a new bolt but i don't know where to find it or what its called?
the bolt that goes through the lca, connecting the strut to it? that's the strut mount bolt.
you're best off going to the wreckers and grabbing another one. a standard size bolt shank is going to be slightly smaller in diameter and will fit loose

where can i get one besides the junkyard because i don;t have time to go to a junkyard, does honda sell them on the website, whats the name of the bolt?
ye, that should be it. u can go to honda for it. it's the same bolt used in multiple different chassis, so they're gonna stock it. if they're feeling nice, one of the techs will just go in the back and grab you a used one. seeing as how they're commonly seized/stripped, i'm sure they've got a bucket of used ones kicking around for cars they work on
otherwise, the parts desk will charge you 5-10$ for one (i'm assuming)
TBH, i'm sure you could find a grade 10 metric, probably M10x1.25. but you'd have to search. just roll to honda and ask them nicely.
now, you're also gonna need to snap the nut off the strut fork to drive the broken bolt out. use a big breaker bar and 17mm socket to bust it off. it's only held on by a few tack welds. punch the bolt out. then just use a nut in its place. try and get that one from honda while you're there. it'll be a top strut mount nut. that one will work
