lower strut bolt??
whats the easiest way to take the lower strut bolt of the LCA.. i've tried my impact gun but its not comming out.. should i heat it up before i take the impact gun to it?
it's going to break no matter what you do. The bolt is corroded to the sleeve in the bushing.
Buy new bolts, buy some replacement bushings and then get ready to do some cutting. I put the blade of a hack saw between the the control arm and the shock, both sides, and cut all the way through the bolt. Once the shock is free of the LCA, burn the bushing out and reassemble with LOTS OF ANTI-SIEZE!!!!
