Default P74 ECU is that all...

If I buy a P75 or p74 (obd1) ecu, and use my 95 civic DX harness will this be all that is needed to swap a 97 LS B18b into my 95 civic?

ECU plugs into the ecu harness in the kick panel, and then the TEG harness from the engine plugs in to the stock Civic harness on the passenger side strut tower harness, and then accross on the other strut tower. I'm pretty sure that's it, since it's a non-vtec motor.

Don't quote me though... (this is how I did mine...so it should work)

dude..if you've got an OBDII engine, get the OBDII P75 ECU...try to see if everything plugs in....it probably will. Start it up, and see if it's throwing any codes.

I don't want OBD2 though, I will most likely boost the engine or sell it later for a B18c and go all motor.

Hey man..an OBDII ls ecu will be a lot cheaper to buy than an OBDI. I have one for sale if you need one...just send me an offer if interested.

Also, you might want to decide now what you want do, either Turbo B18B or N/A B18C...it'll save you money in the long run.

I have the OBD2 ECU and uncut harness... I might go LS/VTEC I am not sure, I just need to get the car running again. I got a GOOD deal on the 97 LS engine, so...
