clutch...
hay guys got another question, when i turn my car on the clutch makes a slight chattering sounds like ch ch ch ch ch ch the when i press clutch does it goes away and has very faint tick sound, and ideas? maby clutch going out?
clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder (slave only if you have hydro)
or..
clutch itself going out.
when my clutch went out I had odd sounds and all kinds of chattering. It slowly got worse over time. Do you have any trouble getting in and out of gears? When my clutch went, 3rd gear was pretty hard to get into. Then I couldn't get into 3rd. Then I couldn't get into 2nd. Then shifting out of first was a pain in the ***. Then I realized something wasn't right and I pulled my tranny to find a piece of metal had broken off the clutch plate and was bouncing around in the bell-housing of the tranny.
I would say keep an eye on this problem. Clutches generally don't just 'fail'.... it's more of a progression over time. Meaning it gets worse and worse until it's VERY obvious that something is wrong.
The key here is having enough love for your honda to pull things apart and figure out what's goin on to circumvent future problems. BEFORE something happens and you have broken something else do to negligent sh!ttiness on your part
Just keep an eye on it, it could be any number of things failing slowly. Catch it before something goes seriously wrong.

If you put in the clutch and the sound goes away it is not a clutch problem.
Sounds like a bearing in the transmission is bad. Pressing in the clutch stops it from turning. I had to replace the input shaft bearing in mine. Bearing was only 22$ from dealer. Did have to pull and open the trans to get to it though.
