If I where you I would look here first. Official All Motor Dyno Thread!

You should find B-Series and H-Series in there. Then you'll have a better idea of the parts needed to accomplish your goal. What is your budget? This will give people offering you help some idea of what to suggest.

gsr is gonna take wayyy more than that to get to 225. honestly you cant get either to 225 if you wanna do a clean swap and not a hack job. I'd just boost your D16 and get 225hp and more torque than both of em
its honestly the best way to go on a budget just get a turbo kit ebay or not and a good tune and you won't be dissapointed
...a turboed D wouldn't have all that much more torque then a h22. maybe actually bring it up TO an h22. d-111 H-160. also thats only after the turboes spooled up not right as your foot hits the pedal.

180ft lbs? my buddy has a gsr running 8psi and he just passed 170ft/lbs, i would like to see a d put out those numbers and not blow in a few months.
has nothing to do with PSI bud. A DSM turbo n a D motor makes that torque especially with a mild cam. Quick boost Long Intake runners and a long stroke are what cause that.
And BTW, its 90mm stroke, not 89.

ok and? that was for a lude for one, less $$$ since no swap. And thats not exactly a mild bolt on H22 like i stated. Just look at his post, building a G motor is probably out of the question here.
