so as ive stated many times who ever owned the car before me blew the motor up and replaced it with a k20a3..I recently swaped in a k20z1 using the ecu an tranny that was still in the car. The ecu is defanitly the prb model...well anyway I never could figure out why the a3 made so much power and tonight I raced my buddy's 5.0 foxbody with a coulple of mods with my new z1 motor and i noticed that it doesent redline untill 9000rpm and the vtec kicks in at 5000rpm. Sounds like tell tell signs of a reflash. Is there anyway of finding out by checking the firmware or anything else any feedback would be great
