Default OBD0 to obd1 problems with check engine light.

I have a 1990 with b20z. I did a obd1 conversion. I checked my wiring on my dizzy it is good. Using a ecu jumper harness. Car starts right up and runs great for a second or to. Kind of misfires then runs like crap and is real sluggish trying to rev. I have obd1 chipped pr4. The check engine light comes on but I can't find out how to ground the scs wire to check for codes. I found the green with orange stripe on the obd0 harness I tried grounding and nothing. I need to figure this out asap. I am carless because of can't even drive the car like this.

Find the pin for the service connector & ground it.
Check http://www.phearable.net/tech for an obd1 wiring diagram.
Check the codes & resolve them

I know its b6. I tried grounding it and nothing. I tried splicing into that wire on the obd0 harness. Then tried to hook a jumper into 2 plug under dash and nothing. I also cut the wire and tried doing it ecu side and harness side. What am I doing wrong here. I know ill feel like an idiot when get it right.

1. Wait for the check engine light to turn on with the car running.
2. Ground the service connector pin to a common ground in the vehicle.
3. Wait for the MIL to blink the codes.

just tried that. Also tried to drive it. If I rev to 3000-3200ish it cuts out and won't go past.

The purpose of the steps provided above was to get the MIL to flash what ever codes are being thrown. Something is obviously wrong with your wiring/vehicle.

well if its a 90 then its not supposed to flash on the dash i thought it was supposed to blink on the ecu its self and since you have an obd1 ecu it doesnt have that light
