USDM ITR header to LS cat? Please help....
Will a stock USDM ITR exhaust manifold (header) mate correctly to my stock '96 LS cat? I'm concerned about the outlet collector diameter being too large to properly seal with the smaller diameter LS cat inlet. Would this be the case or will this mod be more or less a direct fit? Thanks in advance for your responses.

Collector diameters are the same, as are teh lengths of the 2ndary runners and collector.
Flange bolt patterns are also the same.
And, all USDM GenIII Integra primary sections are identical.
No worries. If you're still skeptical, talk to Brandon Chun....I sold him one a long time ago and he's used it for a while.

It will fit fine without any modifications. The only part that doesn't fit exactly is a lower bracket which you can take off or use a longer bolt to make it work. Otherwise it should be a bolt on affair.
Thanks for all the replies guys. I just picked up the ITR manifold from a local HT member. I also got a ride in his ITR as part of the deal!
why do you want a usdm itr headder for? is this for replacement or upgrade?? if you think upgrading your ls headder to an usdm itr headder is going to give your power your wrong!!!! Fact is no matter if its a ls, gsr, or type r they have the same stock headder. They all have to pass emission in the states.. go buy yourself a dc or jdm itr headder..trust me your wasting your money..
hey xgsr00. This is no way a big power gainer. This was a cheap way for a minor upgrade. If you're saying that stock LS/GS-R and Type R manifolds are the same then you're an idiot.
DO MA!!!...like i said.. IF your looking for power than skip the usdm stock headders, since they're all 4-2-1 and are regulated to pass emission.. but if its just for replacement than go ahead..
