EP3 stalls out?
so i washed my car today and after i get done i figured i would reset the ECU and so i pulled the positive terminal for a few seconds them put it back on and started the car and let it run for a few, then shut it off. i turned it on again and went to go get a friend and the car would stall when i would be in idle or had the clutch pushed in. At idle when i blip the throttle the rpms will go up like normal but when it is supposed to return to idle it will drop to 500 or near stall but wont. i searched through google and only found people saying it would be a vacuum leak but i see nothing loose.
it also does the weird idle drop if i turn the steering wheel.

Secondly, if you reset the ECU (not sure why you'd be doing this after a car wash???) then you should also let the car idle without touching the throttle until you hear the cooling fan kick on and off twice.
Did you wash the engine bay or just the car? I suspect you got something wet, like your alternator.
I wash my engine bay all the time an have gotten the alternator wet and had no problems...Did your coils get wet that could cause a stalling issue

Whenever you disconnect the battery, you should ALWAYS disconnect the ground first, not the HOT wire.

i reset the ecu again(shortly after i posted this thread) and it is running like a champ now. i suspect it was because i pulled the hot wire(like you said) to reset the ecu(someone else told me to do it that way, wont listen to him again)
