Has anyone removed the balancer shaft belt on the H22. I heard you can gain some extra ponys with it removed. Has anyone had any negative affects. Does the the longevity of the motor get affected. When I look at the belt it seems useless but does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks in advance

Yes, you do gain some. It's been done, and I have yet to see anyone complained about theirs failing or causing problems.
I've heard slight motor vibration after the balancer has been removed but nothing major yet.

It proble is still out of time. Did you make sure that the cams and crank pulley were at tdc when you redid it. If they were then maybe a tune up might help. If not then I don't no bro.
