Default Timing belt problems...

Ok guys, i have my boosted motor back in the car and i put the timing belt on while the engine was out. The problem i am having is occuring at the timing balancer belt pulley and the timing belt pulley, and i figured since us boosted guys always take out motors apart and put them back together someone would have some feedback for me on this topic. The timing belt keeps walking off of its tensioner and rubbing on the timing balancer belt pulley (shown in 2nd picture below), making a loud speaking sound as well as wearing down the timing belt (yes, i already have a new one to replace it with). Ive messed with the tensioners for about 2 hours and still no luck. After a while of trying to get it working right i noticed that the timing balancer belt tensioner seems somewhat crooked against the pulley, which leads me to believe its making the pulley sit **** eyed and therefore messing up the timing belt causing it to walk off and rub on the tensioner. Below are pictures.

If anyone has any ideas or thought of what is causing thing PLEASE help me out. For now, i am thinking its because the tensioner is slightly bent... And by the way, im using the geniune honda manual. Thanks

so the belt is being drawn into the engine? it looks like the tensioner pulley is out too far and the belt is going in, as if the other pulleys/gears are lining it up right and the tensioner is out too far or bent.

How many miles on your engine? Tensioner pulley's can go bad, they're just like any other bearing. Over time the tolerances become loos and it allows the pulley to wooble a bit.....Have you take the pulley off and checked it for play?

the engine was just put in, before it had 79k miles on the car. what i THINK is wrong is the tensioner adjuster arm is bent and there is a washer in between the nut and the adjuster arm that isnt supposed to be there... i think that is making it sit **** eyed.

So use a BFH to get the pulley tensioner arm back into alignment.
