Default muffler Silencers

As the police gets harder on loud exhaust noises, i was looking into purchasing a silencer to slap on mainly at night. i was wonder is there really a difference between different brands of silencers? some brands are quite pricey where as the ones on ebay are cheap. Does it really make a difference? sound etc.

get the one on ebay for 9 bucks. guaranteed to quiet it down a couple of notches. mine is a fart can and the silencer makes it not as loud and raspy. its ugly but hey it does it part.

they are different and the sound should be diff as well. the ebay one is simple it just restrict the air flow so it makes it quieter. the name brand you get to control the air flow so you get to play around with the sound to your pleasure. up to u man. both way it will make ur car quieter.

it will really depend on ur setup. but its definitely quieter, both me and my friend got it at the same time. it suppose to reduce close to 10 decibel, the local muffler shop owner own words "silencer will quiet it down 3 notch." u got 9 dollars to spare so might as well do that cause i almost spend 80 bucks welding a new muffler. Cant tell me it doesnt because its been on my car for a month and it sound close to stock. no more crazy echo in tunnel

I'd go for a mugen twin loop the things are awesome i actually prefer a quiet exhuast.

i had one on my ek4 its was brilliant perfect fit aswell.
i now have a feels system on my eg6 and its the same nice and quiet but still performance and get a nice note out of it.

thing is to get these systems you have to pay the price.
