My speedo's been acting wierd recently.
Couple weeks ago, once I hit VTEC, it would jump all over the place.
Now, even when Im cruising, it kinda jumps around a bit.

Any idea whats wrong?

 

Happened to me, I thought it was the VSS, replaced that didn't help. Someone mentioned it could be the actual cluster.

In the end my problem was the plug to the vss had corroded plugs. I cut if off and wired in another connector and that fixed my problem.

 

OK, I'll try to check the plugs on the VSS

 

Too much dirt / junk in the distributer or an ignition coil going bad would cause rpm fluctuations.

 

The rpms are fine though, its just the speedo

I would just check the vss wires and make sure the pins havent slipped out of the plug or something.

 

I had the same issue. It's the (VSS). I shoved some small copper pins in the middle of the terminals and problem solved.
