Default tried everything, but still not running right

I have had problem after problem with my 93 accord. It's a 10th anniversary ed.

A couple of months ago the car started to miss fire and the tach was going crazy. I tried a new complete dizzy because I was told that the ignition control module is what controls the tach and spark. It did nothing. So i returned it because I found out the alternator was bad and replaced it. The problem went away for a few weeks. Then it came back. Same problem with tach going all over the place even though the engine is staying at the same rpm and it started missing out again. The alternator is giving out 14+volts, the battery with car off was putting out 12+. So the alternator is good this time. Then as I was went out there a few hours later it wouldn't start again. I tried a good known working main relay, and nothing. I tried just putting in a new icm in the dizzy instead of replacing the entire thing. It started but ran like ****, just like it did before. It soon stopped as well. I tried a buddy of mines coil and it didn't do anything.

So I bought another dizzy, and it started and ran again. Wtf is going on with my car, would would short out the dizzy like that?

Some one please help, I have done everything that everyone has recommend.

Are the spade connectors for the ignition control module tight? I've seen intermittent misfires and no starts caused by those terminals not being tight enough.

very snug.

I think I may have found out what is causing the no start, but not sure if it would affect the rpms and miss fire. I checked the resistance on the ignition switch and it ti was way then it should have been on "run" and no current flow on "on". I did get it to read normalish for about 3 minutes and it started right up but was still missing out.

I am going to buy a new switch here in a couple days when I can afford it and I'll update the thread on if it fixed it or not.

So I though I had checked all the grounds. Well I forgot the one on the thermostat housing. It was completly loose. I never even touched that one before. No clue how it got loose.

Thanks for all input though.
