vtec not activating

i own a 99 civic sir,why is it that my vtec does not activate when it hits 5200 rpm,it was working well before.any help would be much appreciated

there can be many different factors, check the forums theirs plenty of readups but the problems can vary..hope this helped.

Low oil and VSS are the most common problems.

low oil, CEL, vtec solenoid screen clogged...many possibilities.
