my rpm needle was bouncing all over the place so my friend told me to change my ignitor in my distributor. i needed to change my spark plugs so i decided to change that too. changed my plugs and my plug wires. car started fine. i then changed the ignitor in the distributor. ignitor was used but was promised to be good still. i placed all the wiring back in the distributor. plugged it back in. this time it wont start. i then put my old ignitor back on but it still wont start. my question is what else could be the problem? im thinking of just buying a new ignitor. just want to cover all my bases if this one doesnt work too. i appreciate the help. by the way, my car is a civic si coupe year 2000. it has a stock b16 in it.

How are your cap/rotor?

 

cap and coil are good. anything else you guys can think of?
