Default 75 vs 85A urethane mounts?

recommendations?

i ran 75 on a previous car and they held solid but i think my motor was still rocking decently at the track, as i seemed to have nicks on the valve cover from hitting the hood. (was b series in an ek, now in an eg)

will 85 really be that much stiffer/really really vibrate on the way to the track?

I daily drove with 85a mounts for over 2 years with no issues. The mounts will cause some vibration, it's noticeable, but not annoying.

I use the innovative 85A mounts with AVID torque mounts on 620whp and I have some vbration at the lowest speeds, but its fine in the top speeds, I am use to it so it does not bother me that much.

Innovative offers them.

The vibration will primarily be felt at idle, but its nothing "annoying" IMO. I currently have 85A inserts. They are about to be sent back in to be upgraded to 95A. I've used every insert from Innovative at different times on different vehicles and didn't find any of them to be terrible. The only ones IMO that caused a really noticeable idle vibration were the 95As. (Noticeable because it was a street car with a lot of loose stuff in the dash and a vibrating rear view mirror///a little irritating at idle, but once your up in the RPMs you really won't notice it)

I currently run the 95A mounts from innovative in my DD. they are not really that bad once you get used to them. you will find all you loose bolts and items throughout the car as I have over the last year. my rear view mirror actually has more vibration at speed than it does at idle, as do my outside mirrors. but it's msotly at medium speeds. one thing is for sure though, I DO NOT have to worry about the motor moving at all with these mounts. and I stopped noticing the virations after about a week and a half of driving the car almost 100 miles a day to and from work.

I have had the strong inserts in my hasport mounts for three years now and they dont vibrate bad unless your down low in rpm.

I have the 85A's and after driving the car on the street now, At highway speeds in 5ht it's not too bad. At idle there is no vibration. At low speeds low RPM there is. It bothered me at first cause i wasnt used to it but it doesnt bother me now.

I daily drive with 94a mounts. The more solid the better I say.

I have nothing personal against Hasport but since I put in these Innovative mounts I couldn't be happier. over the past few years I have destroyed a few sets of the Hasport mounts. they would fix or replace them at no cost to me but the downtime is a bitch. I have been beating on these Innovative mounts (95a) for about a year and a half now and they show NO sign of giving up any time soon. and they just seem to be nicer pieces too. and for the money I spent on them, they have Hasport beat, hands down.

all steel all day! jp there is not a major difference in the two sizes, just go with the stiffest ones though for a race application
