How F***ing tight are head bolts?
trying to make this short and sweet. Not gona save the block but would like to take my b16 head off my b20 block.....anyway. These hex head bolts are a pain my @$$. At first I thought they were metric. nope. 3/16. so at first I tried to use an allen wrench and pliers. (knew it wouldn't work). thats all i had. The head bolts destroyd/rounded off the allen wrench.
so next step. I got the hex socket from autozone. (no it is not a 4mm, 5mm or 6mm. tried those). Same results, rounded of the hex socket.
I will go to Sears and try a craftsman one next. This really sux cuz I live in bfe and got drive 30mins to sears. anyway. The bolts aren't stripping, its my tools. any insight or any comments thanx.

I'm pretty sure its just the cheap tools im using. If it tears up the craftsman then I wont know what to do. Is there anyway it could be a 4.5mm? the 3/16 seems like a very good fit. the 5mm is too big and 4 mm is too small
Damn you JDogg ur making me look like a retard. just took another look and yep looks like im gonna get the 12 pt socket and take it off. lol.
