I just bought oem valve seals from the local performance shop and i cant get them to slide on for anything. tried the 12 socket and pushing not even gettin over the lip. so i tried tapping with a rubber mallet and still no good the teflon inside the seal just ***** up and wont slide over the guide. I oiled the guides and small amount inside the seal and put the valve thru to hold it straight and have ruined 6 of them. I have done this before on my old motor and used felpro instead of OEM and never had a snag at all. am i doing something wrong? i have the factory honda manual and am following everything to a "T" besides having the actual honda tool to install them.
