Default LS turbo question

i was wondering if i could turbo my stock 1990 integra da9. it has about 185000 miles on it. If i turbo it do i have to build my motor first or can i just leave it bone stock and turbo it?
If i could turbo it then what turbo should i get? I dont want anything too crazy just wanna have a turbo car.

The integra is mostly stock besides an aem intake. If i turbo would my motor blow?

THANKS FOR HELPING.

i turboed my stock b18 motor and blew one of my piston rings with only 90,000 miles on motor and about 10psi of boost. you can build an entire bottom end for boost for about a $1000. i did and now i can run about 20-23 psi of boost with no problems. i would just build the bottem end and save your self the time and headache. and as far as turbo's i am running a 50trim turbo and love everybit of it. if you are looking for an entire kit try treadstone turbo's reasonably priced and everthing you need.

Keep your motor use it for daily driving.

Buy a new one to build on the side.

When it's done building go and install your turbo and drop the motor in.

As for your old motor. I'd keep it and rebuild it again and either put it into shell.
