Vibration when braking...
At first I thought it was the wheel bearing.
However I took a look and it had no play at all.
Then I noticed that the rotor had uneven wear. When I spun the rotor, 12:00 on the rotor (for example) would rub on something (brakes?) and 6:00 would be smooth. When I brake I can hear the rubbing when I go slow. When I go a bit fast and brake hard it just vibrates.
So I changed the rotor and noticed the caliper had the wrong bolts which made it sit crooked. So I changed those out with brand new ones.
So now when I stop it still vibrates but not as bad.
Does it need time to break in?
What do you think the problem is?

Thanks for the help. I might just replace the whole wheel hub since I need a new lower ball joint.
I took it out for a drive earlier.
I noticed that it vibrates when I step on the gas hard. Any more opinions?

So I replaced the rotor.
Noticed that the caliper had two way different sized (in length) bolts.
Bought new ones. Still vibrates but not as hard.
Checked the ABS code it was Front Left Wheel Sensor.
Crossing my fingers and hoping that all I need to do is clean the sensor.

unless you're talking about a new Chevy why would I want to buy a Chevrolet just to have more repairs every hundred miles?
This car is 16 years old and the only problem are the brakes. Would you be able to say the same about an old Chevy?
BTW I know you're joking. I'm not taking you seriously lol.

No, With a heavily warped rotors you would need to flatten the pads out with a fiber grinding disk. Pad that have been on a warped rotor will more likely chatter causing a poor brake pedal sensation. Its very easy to. Their is no need to slap new pads on.
My question is what pulse sensation are you getting. Is it comming from the wheel and brake pedal or just the pedal

Wow, people who still believe that rotors "warp"...
unknownally, perform a proper brake pad bedding procedure on your new rotors and existing pads after cleaning, inspecting, and lubing the caliper slide pins. If the issue persists after that, check wheel bearings. If they're fine, check hub runout.

To the op you can either replace your pad or grind the new ones until they are flat agen. Check by laying the pad on a flat surface. Use a disc grinder.
Just tossing the old pads on their will still cause a abnormal brake feel and possibly a pusation depending on how bad the pad are. This is because the pads have had slight high and low spots worn into them. Simple as that.
I have done this plenty of times at the dealer i work at.
vibration under WOT could be a cv axle (inboard joint) or maybe a motor mount
