EG (EJ1) Wont Start... not even the dash lights
my gf primarily drives the car. she drove to work and it ran fine, no issues or signs of dying. 8 hour shift passes by and she heads home. turns the key and boom nothing. no crank, no radio, no headlights, no dashlights.
i headed over and tried jumping the car and still nothing. unplugged the battery and put it in my rsx and it turned over like a new battery (the battery is less than a year old) would. plug the battery back in and still nothing. grounds look good as well as the power wires. any ideas as to what this issue may be?
i checked the under hood fuses that have the ECU and Battery fuses and they werent blown. any important fuses/relays that might cause this problem?
my friend told me that he thinks its most likely wiring. everything looks good as far as wiring but im going to double check it tomorrow with a multimeter to verify this. ANY help would be appreciative in terms of steps/procedures to follow.

1) Sand to a shiny metallic sheen the battery ground attached to the frame and then tighten it up.
2) Clean and tighten the battery connectors.
3) If 1 and 2 don't work, one of the battery cables may be bad.

maybe its a good time for me to do the big 3 lol
anyway im checking it out tonight but i want to make sure that i check everything i possibly can before doing this. i dont want to come back and say "hey theres continuity on my wires and constant power. what else can it be?" because im limited on time since the car is sitting at the place i work and the manager isnt liking it

thanks for the help so far guys. im going to check for continuity even in the main fuses that "look" ok
ok new problem...
so i doubled checked everything. battery fuse was cracked which wasnt visible at the times i checked the car since i could only go see it at night. i replaced it around 10am. i turned on the car and it turned over great. i even let it warm up.
gf goes to pick up the car around 8pm. the car clicked then didnt start so she had her brother jump the car. she had to let it charge for 25 min (idk why she even waited that long so dont ask me lol). she gets in the car and the headlights starting flashing and the dash/interior lights start flashing. everything turned off. she turned on the high beams and those flashed too and turned off. by turn off i mean only the electrical aspect, the car itself still ran. i havent had a chance to look at the car yet but ill be sure to check fuses but this sounds more complicated then that
my gf and her bro googled the problem and found the alternator usually being the culprit in this scenario. i just want to verify this as a possible problem with HT before attacking it. the alternator does need replacing but it ran without any issues before all this; it just had dimming headlamps/dashlights/dome lights
