I just did a b18c swap into a del sol and just got it running. now i just gotta work out the kinks. is it possible to use the b16a throttle cable (what i had before) on the gsr engine? thanks

you need the gsr cable because the bracket that holds it is the only one that works for a gsr throttle cable.. unless you swap with another one from an ls manifold or b16 manifold. The gsr is the only one thats different from all the other B series motor.

 

^correct, but he cannot use a different im other then aftermarket, gsr's have different bolts patterns from all other b series manis

eh 40 bucks? no clue really just a complete guess, check hondapartsunlimited before you go to dealership, there prices are less.

 

print out the price from online and some dealerships will price match.

 

I got mines for like $35 from the dealer.. ebay have cheaper prices. I personally hated the gsr throttle cables and its throttle pulley. I can never tighten the cable enough before it runs out of threads. This was a usdm throttle cable for a jdm gsr motor.. Afterwards I took off the GSR throttle pulley and replaced it with one from an integra ls instead. Then I used a type R cable bracket and a type R cable..
