Hi guys,

I have a 1994 EG6 and decided to take the engine/gear box out and put a teg GSR engine/gear box which I would later turbo charge..

Once the swap was done i had a look at the old EG6 gear box and realised it had LSD (wtf?) I didn't think EG6's came with lsd..
I looked around the box and couldn't find anything stamped on it to work out which type of LSD box I had so I could look up the specs and final drive..
Will it be the same as the SIR which came with LSD? It does say RK5 on it and googled it but no joy..
Can anyone explain what box I have?

 

idk about lsd i see a bar in the center of diff making it non lsd

thanks for the conformation guys..I was told the bar in the middle splits the power to both wheels so I had LSD. But having done ALOT of research...the bar in the middle indicates there is no lsd...thanks again..

 

 

Regardless of whether you have LSD or not, SiRIIs came with viscous coupling LSD, but the SiR models did not.
