well the other day i got a gsr hatch but its been sittin for a good 8 months now today and yesterday iv been trying to start it . all i done to it was put new plugs and changed the oil and oil filter . iv tried everything i can like got 2 other dizzy'z but still no spark ,ckecked all the fuses and there good , i have used a good workin ecu , i even changed the engine harness and still no spark. anybody ever had a problem like this .car was also wrecked broke the tranny but nothin bad if that helps wit anything i doubt it tho.need to know somethin asap have to do a swap and sell the shell thanks ht.
problem solved did not have a main relay.

 

checked the ground connections too?

 

has plenty of ground . also it does get fuel

 

well seems like the igniter isnt getting power, got a wiring diagram?

 

heres what i would do

gas
firing order
main relay
tranny ground and the one on the thermostat
make sure the map sensor and tps arent reversed

thats just a couple easy ones to check out first

 

anyone have other ideas

i had the same problem with my first swap the motor ran in the car we pulled it from and we dropped it in my eg it did nothing i even changed the wire harness and the ecu only to find out that i just needed to clean the grounds on the body and the motor and the bolts with a wire brush

 

ill try that but dnt think that would get the dizzy to spark
