Here is my problems,

My car is a 92 civic hatch. It has a 96 ls motor with a gsr transmission. The gsr transmission i just got installed a days ago. Now my car is not starting. It was fine when i drove it from the shop nothing wrong at all I drove it all day. but i tried to start the car today it wouldnt start. Ssometime it would but then it would sputter and sputter little bit more when i would press the gas and turn off. and sometimes it wouldnt even start its just cranks like it going to start. I cant find out what the problem is?
I did check the compression it was at about 195 for all the cylnders. There was a little bit oil on the spark plugs that worries me. Can anyone suggest anything that can be wrong with the car. Any help would be helpfull.

what i would do:

1. listen for the fuel pump.

2. check the solders on the main relay.

3. then i would change the spark plugs (sounds like you need to anyway).

4. if it still isn't starting, i would ask a friend with an LS motor to come over and i would put thier distrubutor on my motor and try again.

Fuel Pump, injectors and spark plugs. my civic did the same thing.

Oil in the spark plugs does that mean its the headgasket or somthing but the car is not smoking or anything
