weird temp issue

so everytime i hit vtec and mash on the gas the temp gauge goes to cold then if u push in the clutch to shift it will go up to normal temp , then hit gas again and temp will drop ? any help?

your thermostat may be on its way out. i can ride vtec on the highway and not see a change in temperature either way. do you have consistently hot heat?

the temp drops to zero basically. yes heat inside car is fine. well guess ill replace thermo and see whats up

i would concur with the replacement of the t-stat. sounds like it's stuck open to me

yea i would thought the same except rad hose is hard so its not stuck but prolly on its way out

the radiator hose's should both be hot (not scalding) and squishy, if not you have a bad thermostat.
