the TDC code is for TOP DEAD CENTER. it means your cams are misplaced. take off your valve cover and look at both i mean BOTH your CAM GEARS to make sure they are the exactly identical.
I had the same problem last year I actually drove the car all the way to texas, a day worth driving and my cel light was on the hole way and my brothers friend swap the distrubutor twice, swap ecu's, still the same problem until he took off the valve cover and he saw the cam gears were position different, so it happens to be that the intake cam was off 9 degrees so he losen the belt put it in position and problem solve, check your cams.

Maybe! remove your spark plug in cylinder #1, and drop a long screw driver in the hole, then manually rotate the crank pulley by hand, until it get to the top, then check the position of your cam gears, if arrows are pointing down, rotate another 180 degrees. If cylinder #1 is at TDC, and both cam gears then face UP...Then your problem is as posted above...
Sorry don't want to hijack the thread but i just happen to have same issue and posted a couple of times with no answer could this be happening due to a stretched timing belt?
I have the infamous code 8 also with some random misfires after warming up,reset the ECU still have same misfires but no codes but i noticed my timing belt is really stretched

It's more likely that the problem lies with the sensor on the distributor base. Have you tried swapping in a known good distributor?
