Default P30 ECU Code 8 HELP

I have a problem with my B16A2 swap in my racecar and have not been able to find the answer.

I have a P30 ECU OBD1 and it is throwing a Code 8 ( 8 quick flash's) which is a TDC code . I have checked the resistance of that sensor in the distributor and found it to be 374ohms. which is good. I changed out the ECU for another and also changed the Distributor for a new rebuilt one wiht no luck, The third and final thing was running new wire from the ECU Pinouts to the Distributor and still NO LUCK?
I dont know what else would make it thow this code which is putting the ECU into limp mode

Maybe I am missing a ground? I dont know

PLEASE HELP

P.S. I also am missing the ELD which is the Electrical lode detector which is code #20 but the Honda dealer guy said that will not throw it into LIMP mode.

And code #36 is there aswell because its a JDM ECU and its for traction Control. I dont think that would put it in LIMP?

I found this on another site about the internals of the OBD1 Distributor:

"The monopole unit is the Top Dead Center sensor (TDC), the four banger is the Cylinder Position Sensor (CYP), and the multipoled thing is the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP)"

Is this rite?
Because the info I found online about pinouts and wire colors suggests that the single pole is the (CYP) and the 4 pole is the (TDC)

So which one is rite?

HELP

Try a P28, P72, or another P30 that is known to be working in a different car. Also try your ecu and distributer on someone elses car and see what happens.

Either distributer is bad or ecu is bad. /end

I found the problem and it was a stupid thing that somehow the computer new . Spark plug wires 2 and 4 were switched on the distributor. The car ran but was missing and giving the Code 8 once they were switch to the rite spot the code 8 was gone and it ran fine. I thought the poor running was because it was in limp mode.

Its funny how the ECU knows what plug wire goes to what plug?

thats cause it's the specific firing order- the ecu knows which is the correct firing order and what isn't
