Default 23'' slicks on a turbo car

I have exospeed wheels and M&H slicks but there 23'' I want 24.5. should I exchange them or try the 23? It will be on a hatch that will be gutted with a 57 trim d16z6 with around 400+whp once tune hopefully. Stock geared tranny with a lsd. I wanna pull 1.6 to 1.5 short times and make it thru the traps without being on the rev limiter and have a good trap. Please chime in guys kinda **** that I had to wait on them to get the wrong ones.

That should be a perfect size for that tranny and hp level. Check here

yeah you will be cutting it close, it depends on what you are going to be revving to.

Depends what you rev to, what you trap, and what 60' times you are able to achieve.

Also, just because you say "stock geared tranny", we can't just assume it's the Z6 trans given that you can have any D-series trans on there. Is it for certain the Z6 trans?

Try the 23's and get the most out of them before going bigger. Too many people rush to bigger slicks and bigger drivetrain problems. If people can run 1000whp and run 8's with 24's I'm sure you'll be fine on 23's.

Regardless, D series gearing sucks. 23s will be just fine.

My buddy has about the same setup and pulls 1.6 60's and is just at his rev limiter so it's really up to you, he seem's pleased with his setup.
