Default Shifting problems please i need help.

Ok so today i got my auto to manual conversion done. Everything seems to be ok but im having trouble going into gears. could this be slave cylinder? cuz the pressure on the clutch pedal not so good (i think) but im not sure this is my first manual integra so i dont really know how it should feel. What do you guys think the problem might be? Especially the first gear im having trouble i have to play around so it can go into first.

.... check your shift linkage. make sure its going in right. then check if your master cylinder is holding pressure.

What set up are you using? I did the same conversion in my DB1 and I used the hasport one and in my opinion it sucks it's still cable driving but with a clutch master cylinder, and I did this two years ago with the problem of not engaging right like you so I left it like that always adjusting the cable until last week when my cable snap, so now am doing a full hydro conversion on it using a special bracket from suja1motoring.com and it bolts to the inside pedals you should look into it a lot of people that use it says good things about it even Rywire is using it in his fully custom CRX.

oh I see you just swap the trans. I have a full 96 GSR swap with a hydro trans, am thinking your trans is a YS1 right? then you shouldn't have issues, you got the right mounts? maybe is that am guessing.

1 check the shift linkage
2 bleed your clutch
3. check ur slave cylinder
4.check your gears selector areas under the hood see if it hit any other things around it.. that could beone of the problem..
5. check ur pressure plate

Im pretty sure that clutch/slave cylinders are good and i bled it the clutch is fine but when i shift into first like u should (pull the shifter to left and up into first) it wont go in but when i pull the shifter and kinda go diagonal it will go into first. same with second. I want say that it doesnt shift smoothly into all gears like it should.

im thinking if we have the same problem..mine also sometime wont go smooth on first gear i have bring it to second gear and out to first and sometime i have to play around with clutch pedal....

do you press the pedal all the way down or half way....most of the time i press mine half way and works all the time...might have something to do with the pressure plate..but thats my opinion...

yes i do press it all the way in but no difference same thing pulling the shifter all the way to left and go up into first it absolutely wont let me go in that way. but dragging it diagonally and towards the first gear it will some how. its embarrassing man on the traffic light it does not go into first and ur stock and people get angry behind. i got fix it as soon as possible.
