Does anyone know what radiator cap I need for a mishimoto radiator made for an EG?
Here is the story bought the mishimoto radiator, fan shroud w/ fan, and it came with there basic cap. But now the car is running right and i can rev it out all the way the cap leaks. Its NOT coming out of the pressure releif, its coming from the bottom of the cap where it meats the radiator. I have tried an EG replacement cap and it does not fit at all. The radiator fill neck is to large diameter for the stock size cap. Any ideas? Has anyone else had a problem with there stuff? Oh I also had to trim there fan shroud because it fits great without the lower hose but when you put the hose on it doesn't fit any more.
same problem, there basic cap blows on my radiator
and also there metal style drain plug sucks, the plastic design is better

well i guess im not the only one... From the sounds of it none of there cooling system parts are that great. Realistily i get one pass then the cap blows water out. It kinda gets old trying to explain to the tool with the subie that i just beat that no my car is not broken i just bought a crappy radiator with a poorly engineered cap that can not hold the pressure of a stock water pump. I wish someone would have warned me before i wasted my money on the mishimoto junk. I would under stand if the stuff i bought was used and beat down but i bought it new from mishimoto's wedsite.

Our products are not junk, if they were, we would not have been around since 2003.
You are saying that radiator cap is defective? I have one right here that I can send you. OP, you have a PM.

we have been mishimoto dealers for the longest time. All our stocks runs well. We have sold many hundreds of these sets locally. they are the best bang for buck. Even there's any one which has small problems, it will always be carefully handled by the guys at Mishimoto.
(So far never had any issues with my customers only blaming us for not keeping enough stocks to satisfy the needs for others
