having trouble finding an obd2a MT harness, could i use an automatic trans harness and just take out the AT plugs? or is it a complete differnt harness?

 

if your ek had a vtec motor in it then use that harness

 

yeah. i just did this swap in my 98 and use my stock 5 speed ex harness. just extend a few wires and plug and play.

lol. not to thread jack but do you happen to know what an orange hose connected to the fuel pump is? i need to replace mine it has some black build up in there.

its a dx and i wanted a spare harness to do all the wiring on the side then when i got it all done all i would have to do is plug it in and start it, cause this is my daily driver

 

get an ex/hx harness. if you don't want to hack up your dx one. you only need to extend a few wires on the ex/hx harness because they're both from vtec motors. not difficult at all. i did it to my daily driver by myself for the swap took me all weekend.

 

yea i picked up a 5 speed harness from a friend for free
