hey i just finished a wire tuck but it wont start.it wont crank or anything ill just make a click noise and nothing.i tough it was going to be my starter because before i started the wire tuck it was acting weird. so i did change it and nothing.i double checked all my connections,fuses and grounds and nothin. do you guys think my fuse box got messed up? any help would be appreciated thanks

When you turn the key to ON(III) with the clutch pedal pushed down, is there battery voltage at the starter solenoid wire?

Did you reconnect the transmission ground?

Does the fuel pump prime?

 

check the voltage at both terminals of the starter with the key turned to start. if 12v not present theres your prob.

 

are you experienced with wiring? did you do it yourself?

im willing to bet the wire tuck is your problem

 

i recconected everything back. i am going to be checking everything again today. the engine bay was painted can that cause the grounds not to be graving.? and no i do not have experience with wireing but im not that stupid to not label my stuff. i will let you guys know what happens later tonight

 

sorry if my post earlier came off as negative towards you, but it truly wasnt. ive heard of too many people tucking their bays and then not getting spark/fuel. usually something minor that was overlooked. good luck.

 

so last time i checked the voltage on my fuel pump and was not getting nothing so i ended up buying a fuel pump put everything back and bam started the first time. i had the car for 2 years and guess previous owner never changed it. it was nasty and old
