high compression + which turbo for instant boost
so im looking for a turbo for my all motor setup on low boost. probably just to get to 200 or so wtq on 93 octane. what turbo would you recommend that will basicly spool up at any rpms. a gt28rs would be nice but looking for something cheaper. a t28 would be too small.
below is my current setup
stock bore LS
11.5 cp pistons
eagle rods
b17a Head w/ supertech valvetrain
Blox Tuner C cams
Full-Race Cam Gears
jsr 4-1 header JDM **** brand mugen copy 2.5" collector
test pipe w/ cutout
ITR intake manifold
MaxBore 66mm TB
custom short ram intake
s2000 injectors
7.5lb flywheel
Apexi worldsport exhaust with cutout
219whp/154wtq

A T3 Super 60 would be a good fit. It's small, but still large enough as to not choke out up top. It should make the power you want. One issue that i see is that with your compression ratio, you may be close to pushing the limits on 93 octane...i'm sure you'll be ok, but its something to keep in mind
Evo8 or Evo9 turbo. Do a search on here or Evans Tuning. There are a couple examples and it shows pretty clearly it's a great bang for the buck. Hopefully you have a friendly fab guy as everything is going to need to be custom.
I assume sarcasm? If not, why would he buy a turbo for 600+hp when he is looking for 300-350? Why would he buy a turbo with a stage V T3 turbine wheel when he is asking for instant boost? Overall, those choices would be some of the worst he could make.

57trim still has a good bit of lag on it
wont get full boost until like 4200 or so at wot
i had the sc61.... that turbo was just silly on turbo lag...

I hadn't thought about the Evo 8/9 turbo, but that too would be a good choice. The ONLY problem with those turbos is the flange...the manifold would be a one-off which will add to the cost of the overall product.
I dont know if that GT35r comment was serious, but that's ridiculous...even something in a T3/T04 frame is too big for your application IMO. I would stick to a straight T3 at the largest

The Evo 16g is a great turbo, there is no denying that. The big problem is that flange as i previously mentioned. Manifolds for the Evo 16g aren't as common as something T3 flanged. If this were my setup, i would look into something with a common flange...that allows you to buy any manifold under the sun RATHER than having to find someone to build you something custom.

yea im not looking for a custom manifold. basicly something i can bolt right up with no hassle. i have been leaning towards the super60 but wasnt sure if it was too small.
my setup would be simple
log manifold with a 2.5" downpipe

just talked to jk
he recommended me to swap out the cams for gsr cams if i plan on running a log manifold with a super 60

problem solved. Now you can use any manifold under the sun.
try a 50 trim with a .48 exhaust housing, hit full boost on my bros b16 81mm stock bore 9:1 compression block at 3500rpm
A .48ar turbine is awfully small for a Honda...especially a B series VTEC. They tend to spool slightly faster but crap out in the upper RPMs because our engines are not big fans of excess backpressure.
OP: Look at the SLS shorty manifold...its pretty much exactly what you need
