So i got an 1994 LS shell with a GSR engine in it, recently it started to throw Code 22 and i noticed an oil leak right under the vtec solenoid so i have changed the spool valve gasket and vtec pressure switch thinking that it was the problem but it didn't help any, my vtec kicks in fine but it wont go pass 6700 rpm which normally it goes to around 8000 rpm and my oil level is fine also. Anybody knows what could be the problem????

 

Anybody had similar problem/?? Should i replace the whole Vtec Solenoid or what could it be??
