Default Annoying turn signal clicking noise in car

I turn on my car and it clicks. It sounds like a fast clicking (as if one of your lights is out). When I turn on my turn signal the clicking goes away and I just hear the turn signals. After I turn the annoying clicking comes back again. It happens if I just turn on the car and stay idle. I hear the clicking and it looks like it's coming from the blue box under the steering wheel. The box is on the left by behind the fender. I believe the box may be a fuse box or something. Just want to find out what it is because it's annoying me.

Could a fuse be the issue?
BTW It's a 96 AT Accord Sedan. I also cant hear the noise outside the car only on the inside of the car.

What could the problem be. Is it a relay or fuse?

It'd HAVE to be a relay. Fuses are solid parts so they would not click. Relays on the other hand are not.

IF you look on the diagram,

You can see in the relay where it moves. Check all your relays in your fuse box.

I have no idea what that diagram says. I just want to know which relay I should be looking for and where it's located so I can replace it. Thanks anyway for the diagram.

Would it be a turn signal relay or flasher relay? Where is P Adams or MuffinMan. This sound is driving me nuts.

I'm having this problem as well. Except now my headlights are out, the clicking sound went away for about a week, and now its back (fearing its the highbeams).

Was anyone able to determine which relay it was?

I have a 1994 accord, and I've been having this same problem intermittently for 3-4 months. This past weekend, driving down the highway, I noticed the smell of burning plastic...a few minutes later a nice stream of smoke started coming out near the switch. Pulled the fuse, finished my trip, and this afternoon got home and decided it was finally time to get rid of this problem.

For me, the solution was as easy as removing the combination switch, disassembling it, cleaning the internal contacts, and putting everything back together.

Here's the thread with the solution: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/diy-combination-switch-fix-headlight-switch-wiper-combo-switch-2530751/

Took about an hour start to finish, and only required a philips screwdriver. Worth a shot before putting down the cash for a new switch.

I'm having the exact same problem with my 94 Accord. Thank you for the link. I will attempt this clean of the combination switch today.

EDIT: Awesome! This works to fix my problem! I cleaned up the switch and its working great now!
