Default air/fuel gauge stays on when car is off

so i noticed today when i turn my car off the air/fuel ratio gauge stays on when. when its running it doesn't read like it should its all over the place, when i shut it off the light goes all the way rich and stays on. also when i move my power mirrors around the light will jump all around even when the cars off. does anyone have an idea to what could cause this or were i should start?

Is this a Wide Band or narrow? The power is on constantly because you have the power wired to a constant instead of a switch +12 or you have a short.

if it doesnt turn off...its getting power somewhere, so break out your test light and start testing the connections to see what has power after you turn the key off and go from there.

Plain and simple you have it wired to a constant or it's a short. Some little fairy didn't break into your car in the middle of the night and wire it up to a mystical invisible battery.

Also unless you are running it connected to a wide-band all you have is a retarded light show.

obviously u dont know more than the average person cause you been multimetering all nite. remove its power source and see if it has power. possiblity u have short to power on a circuit next to it cause wiring could have got messed up. but i have an aem wideband and i doubt that happened. maybe somethings not powering down. then again u arent telling us what u have this run to. hmm maybe u should
