Default gm 3 bar map wont fit?

i bought a gm 3 bar map for my boosted ls/vtec but it wont fit on my throttle body. can anyone give me some advice on what they did to get it to work? pics would be great

If you expected it to fit, you were misinformed.



Notice the nipple? Run a vacuum line to it.

As posted above, you use a vacuum line to the intake manifold for a reference. You also wire the ground, power & signal to your engine harness.

You shouldn't install an aftermarket map sensor unless your engine computer is setup for it.

yeah i have a chip from phearable for using the 3bar map so im good on that. so i just leave the factory map sensor on the throttle body unplugged so it blocks off the hole and run a vaccuum line to the new one? does it matter what line i tap into to go to the 3 bar map? should i use a different one from the one that runs to the wstegate and bov?

leave your stock map sensor in and run a vacuum line to the GM Map sensor, mount it on your firewall somewhere...
