Default 3 bar map sensor, how to hook up???

sup guys,
i just ordered my 3 bar map sensor from inline pro and got it today and i look at it and its like 2x's the length of the stock one,so the screw holes dont line up with the one on the intake manifold. so how would i secure the map snesor to the stock location?

i know how to wire it,but thanks

what im asking is the screw holes on the throttle body, for the map sensor do not line up with the holes on the 3 bar map sensor,so how do i mount the aftermarket 3 bar to the stock throttle body

Also just reading the link you posted,it says something about using the ROM edit to change the type of map sensor. does this mean i cant install the map sensor until i go to get it tuned? or can i hook it all up now,and ride around with it on until i go to get it tuned?

you dont bolt it up to the throttle body.
usually people leave the stock map sensor in place unplugged.
then you run a vac source to the 3bar, and you can mount that where you want.

another option is a map sensor "adapter" like this one:

you remove your stock map sensor and bolt this up, and it gives you a vac source for your 3bar.

you can find that one at LHT Performance.

(go under turbo, then parts)

The above info is correct.

And yes, you shouldn't hook it up until you go and are getting tuned... the car will NOT run correctly on the GM sensor without a tune.

I'd suggest tapping into the stock MAP sensor lines and pigtailing... so you have the stock plug and the custom 3bar plug (ie: you can swap between at will, assuming you swap your tune).

So do the wiring, get the plug ready and then either get that adapter, or leave the stocker there and tap another source for the 3bar at tuning time.

you don't have to hook it up exact same location as stock. as long as you have vacuum hose from IM connected to sensor its good enough.

btw. heres some information i made if you want everything to be plug-n-play:
