Default What's needed for my car to turbo..

Okay, so I have a 92 integra. It has a full exhaust from the headers back, and a intake. What would I need to run 6 lbs. of boost safely? Thanks!

turbo will render that header and intake obsolete. go read threads in the forced induction forum to expand your knowledge

I have been, and it looks like I need to P&P it.. Do you think I would also need retainers? Or would that be more for the "higher end" boost?

I would only switch out retainers if you're doing so for the purpose of putting in bigger cams and valve springs. Thats a whole nother beast in itself though and if you just plan on 6lbs I wouldnt bother.

No problem. Honestly if your only going to be running 6lbs and have a fairly healthy motor I wouldnt mess with the HG (any more than that and I'd say go for it Cometic HG and ARP head studs, they usually will do you justice). As for the head if you want more power than the 6lbs get cams, cam gears, valve springs/retainers (so much you can do here and if you get a hold of a Vtec head even more so). With the block same rules apply if you want more than 6lbs pistons/rods etc can all be upgraded if you want. Keep in mind all of this stuff is not cheap and it's going to be a handful just working out the bugs of boosting it in the first place.
