Can you feel the vibration of the engine through your shifter when driving or idling?

 

Yep, Civic's are knows for vibrating shifters.

 

yeah it vibrates, not as bad though with a weighted ****

 

i have some polyutharane inserts on my linkage but i don't mind the vibration

 

yeah it doesnt bug me either, its not like i hold it all the time

 

well, i also have motor mount inserts. im used to it

 

With poly shifter bushings and motor mounts everything vibrates!

 

not enough to where i remember it after i get out the car.

 

Yeah it does a little bit but I like it. Its really minimal though, I feel like every car does it?

 

solid linkage will do that

 

should vibrate a little not make noise tho

 

after i installed my short throw shifter on to it... it started to vibrate and it keeps on hittin the pipein. but dont really bother me unless it vibrate to the point where it's gonna make it fall off.

 

Yes indeed, when I installed a single bend short shifter and energy suspension shift linkage bushings, it was stiff vibrations and my counterweight of my shift linkage tapping against my cat heatshield when i swing to left or right.

 

at first, it was pretty bad but after the inserts settled got alot better.

 

hmm.... I don't even have the slightest wiggle in my shifter.
