Default Very confused on my EX header conversion (98 HX)

Alright, when I bought my car it came with a DC Sports header, so it has the EX header swap. The primary O2 sensor is at the very end of the header, as shown here:

The secondary sensor is behind the cat. I just bought this, which came off of an 00 EX:

Now my question basically is, will it work? I can provide any additional photos needed.

So are you saying you're going from a DC Sports header (for a '99-'00 Civic EX) to a stock header (for a '99-'00 EX) on your HX? And you just want to make sure it will work.

Because '96-'98 EX headers have the primary O2 sensor in a different place and I'm not sure what your question really is.

Yes, exactly that. Sorry that my post didn't make much sense.

So this is sort of similar to asking if a '99-'00 EX with a DC Sports header will still accept a '99-'00 EX stock header, right?

I'm trying to figure this out for sure, what you're asking I mean.

It seems to make sense to me that it'd work.

Yes. Let's see if this will clear it up, cause it's slightly confusing.

I have a 98 HX with a 00 DC Sports header. I'm wondering is an OEM 00 EX header will bolt up to it without any further modification.

Seems to me like you're asking if one 00 header can be replaced with another 00 header. I would say yes.

Are there O2 sensor holes in the same place as the header you have on there now? Seems to me like if you're going to replace the header with a header for the same car and year it will work.

I have a 97 civic HX that i put a 00 ex manifold on, I had to make extension for the o2 sensor wires. I extended the factory harness not the o2 sensor because of the wide band o2 sensor on the HX.

Right, but his already has the extension for the DC header, so he shouldn't even need to do that.

What I seem to get from it is he's asking:

"I have a '98 HX with a (aftermarket) '00 EX header on it. If I put this other '00 EX header on it, will it fit correctly? Here's a photo of the extended O2 sensor wiring already on the car, to show the current header does fit properly."

Not trying to be sarcastic. Just cut and dry.

This is kinda off topic, but my exhaust should be a bit quieter with the stock header right?
