EX header on HX engine
IS it possible to fit an EX header on my 97 HX Engine properly? Also if i did put an EX header on my car is it possible to put a cat on it without having to cut my exhaust pipes?

Here are your options:
Get an EX header, cat for an EX, and cat-back exhaust for EX. This is what I did with my 96 HX.
From where the EX header would end and the cat-back on the HX, the distance would be about the same, although I have never lined it up to be sure, but you won't be able to run a cat. Again, I'm not sure that it will work.
PrestonTom: As for your question, the bolt pattern is the same I believe. Does the LX have the cat in the exhaust manifold?
