cam gear problem lil help??

Default cam gear problem lil help??

ok my gsr cams are out of the head, bought some aem tru times , i cannot get the damn bolt loose on the cam to get the gear off, i seriously tried forever could get a good grip to turn with it spinning, im kinda new to builds this is my first time havent had to deal with this issue, so any advice would be amazing thanks guys

stick a screwdriver through the cam gear against the head while turning...

but seriously it can't be on that tight....


use an impact if you have one.

I'm pretty sure there is a spot on the cam for a wrench to go....to hold on to it.

be careful with those aem tru times gears they are of poor quality and they tend to do damage to motors

i have got many good reviews from people on these cam gears ,what have you heard them damaging? oh and by the bay the screw driver thing worked thanx guys

aem just makes a shitty product , they use cheap materials , aem is the biglots (pick-n-save) of the tuner world

i think aem has quite a few good products , there fuels rails are good,intakes,cam gears, i read alot bout **** b4 i buy man, but everyone has there opinion,
