I just bought a set of LS scat rods brandnew. It didnt come with rod bearings, so i want to stick with OEM rod bearings. Would i just go and buy a set of oem ls bearings from the dealer? Not to sure how i would input oem bearings on Forged rods. Please help guys. thanks.

 

you can get acl rod bearings which are a standard size or just take the rod bearings that were in the engine originally and get the same color codes just be sur eyou put them back on the correct journal. its much easier to just get some acl's

 

I herd bad things about acls because they are a one size fit all type of deal, and honda has different sizes for your specs. I will see if anybody else has other inputs. but thanks.

 

people have been running ac;'s for a long time. I am running acl's in my car for 20k miles i have the motor apart right now for new rods and the eraings are just fine
