Car dies when I push in clutch to brake
Car is a 1995 Integra with a b20z/ls head. Car will start fine and idle fine in the morning. Once I let it warm up and drive it down the street, as soon as I push in the clutch to come to a complete stop the idle drops and dies. This only happens when warmed up and only when holding in the clutch after driving (usually before I come to a complete stop but if I push it in and coast the car will die too). No vacuum leaks, idles at 1k all day unless coming to a complete stop of course. Tightened FITV and cleaned IACV. Really need to figure this out because it is my daily car. Brand new red top battery and car stays running if I take the positive connector off the battery. Once car dies it has no trouble starting back up either. The tachometer doesnt jump around so I dont THINK its anything in the distributor. Recently replaced the fuel filter with a new one and added fuel injector cleaner to clean up the injectors.
I have almost the opposite problem, idles real low when my car is not warmed up, sometimes die. i have to gas it to start/keep the idle up. its probably the idle air control? gonna replace it and see what happens. tried cleaning it but it didn't do nothing. once it is warmed up, it drives fine. gsr head, ls bottom, si-r tranny.
